Quepos and Manuel Antonio , Costa Rica

Quepos & Manuel Antonio National Park

Quepos is a small town located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Nearby is Manuel Antonio National Park which has been a long time tourist destination, and the most visited national park in all of Costa Rica. The town of Quepos itself doesn't have much to offer except typical restaurants and some great, but small watering holes.

The real gem of the area besides the actual park, is the road that leads about 3 miles from town to the national park. This area is commonly referred to as Manuel Antonio, although it is not actually part of the park. Along this road you'll find splendid hotels, big and small, great restaurants and cafes, and stunning views of the sunset.

At the end of the road is the public beach, just before the national park. Here you'll find several places to eat and drink, and the beach is great.
